MILCOM Logging Codes:
Here's some potential "short hand" codes that could be used for logging activity in a note book and or computer record.

BL = Block Assignment (Altitude)
C&A = Customs & Agriculture (inspections)
CD = Clearance Delivery
CO = Climb out
CNX = Cancel
CP= Command Post
CW = Communications with
DE = Descending
DPM = Departure Message
ENC = Encrypted
ER = Engine Run (on the ground)
FL = Flight Level
GE = Ground Emergency
IBM = Inbound message
IC = Informal Radio Communications
IFR = Instrument Flight Rules
IFE = Inflight Emergency
LA = Land
LOA = Low Approach
LPW = Local Pattern Work
PRD = Parachute Drops Add B for bundles/cargo, P for personnel
R# = Runway number
RC= Radio Check
RLC = Relay Communications
RON = Remain Overnight
SCA = Scrambe Alert
TA = Taxi
TG = Touch/goes
TO = Take Off
UNK = Unknown
Example:
RODD 99 takes off from Westover & performs air refueling training with TEAM 78. Here's what the log might look like:
